Dr Darius Khadembaschi BDSc (UWA)

Darius was born and raised in Perth and completed his dentistry studies at the University of Western Australia. Since then, he has worked the majority of his career in a private practice in a small town called Ulverstone on the northwest coast of Tasmania.  Additionally, he has worked in public clinics in Tasmania, private practice in Melbourne and has been a supervisor in dental student clinics in Melbourne and Cairns.

Darius has had a growing interest in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery (OMFS) over his dental career. He has pursued this interest by observing and assisting in OMFS clinics and operations while living in Tasmania. This is how Darius has found himself in Brisbane, to study medicine at the University of Queensland, with an intention to specialise in OMFS.

In his down time, Darius enjoys getting outside and amongst nature, mostly to go surfing or rock climbing and occasionally hiking or mountain biking. He also enjoys listening and playing music, particularly flamenco guitar, which he learned while living in Granada in southern Spain for 8 months.
